Leadership in Action

According to the Police Executive,“Leadership is an observable, learnable set of practices and patterns of behavior.  Leadership is not something mystical that cannot be understood by ordinary people. It is a process ordinary people use when they are bringing forth the best for themselves and others.”

Question: Have you ever promoted someone  into a leadership or supervisory  position with little  or no formal training in leadership and management skills?

Today’s leader cannot be one-dimensional. This interactive two-day workshop focuses on identifying different styles of leadership so as to broaden a participant’s knowledge of how to effectively lead his/her people. Participants leave with specific tools and an action plan that they can use to implement organizational change.

As a result of this workshop participants will be able to:

  • Identify their own personal style of leadership

Power Communication

One of the most important leadership skills is learning how to effectively communicate. In its simplest form, communication is the sharing of information between a sender and a receiver. In our world today, however, cross cultural demands, generational differences and the growth of technology is making communication more complex. 

‘Power Communication’ is an interactive workshop that simplifies the information overload and closes the communication gap by giving participants practical feedback and empathic listening tools they can use at work and at home to improve relationships, contribute to a culture of trust and further realize their career leadership potential.

As a result of this workshop participants will learn:

  • Good to Great. How to benchmark your personal communication skills
